40 Bow St., Remaining open for deliveries only 7 nights/week until 3AM.:
After the public hearing was closed and the petitioner left, 3 neighbors arrived and asked to be
allowed to comment on the matter. Since the petitioner had already been informed that the item
would remain in committee until the Ward Alderman could be consulted, Chairman Sullivan
allowed the individuals to state their concerns. Their main concerns dealt with the business'
drivers backing up to avoid Somerville Avenue traffic, the use of residential parking spaces for
the delivery vehicles and monitoring of the extended hours of operation. Chairman Sullivan
informed these individuals, as the petitioner was informed, that the item was being kept in
committee until the Ward Alderman could be consulted.
