CITY OF SOMERVILLE ORDINANCE NO. 2012-____ In Board of Aldermen__________ Sec. 2-322. - Salary ranges established. There is hereby established pursuant to the study of the municipal compensation advisory board the following categories of city positions with associated salary ranges: Public Safety— Command Staff The salary for the Deputy Police Chief position will be set at $165,000 and all future increases will be in accordance with the City’s performance appraisal system, ie. up to a maximum of 3% each fiscal year. Grade A ($95,000.00 – $124,196.00) Grade B ($80,000.00 – $104,589.00) Grade C ($65,000.00 – $84,978.00) Grade D ($60,000.00 – $78,440.00) Grade E ($50,000.00 – $65,367.00) Grade F ($40,000.00 – $52,292.00) Grade G ($35,000.00 - $45,756.00) In addition, within the categories, the city adopts the individual assignment of positions determined to be city ordinance positions within the categories. Sec. 2-323. - Salary ranges.
