RESULT: KEPT IN COMMITTEE 193655 - That the Clerk of Committees notify the owner of Lien’s Auto Repair, located at 65½ Bow Street, to appear at the next meeting of this Board’s Committee on Licenses and Permits, to discuss possible overcrowding of their parking lot in violation of their Used Car Dealer’s license.: The Clerk of Committees will notify the owner of the business, by certified mail, to appear before the committee. RESULT: KEPT IN COMMITTEE 193699 - Sign/Awning Permit, Taj Mahal Desi Bazaar, 274 Broadway, one sign.: Alderman Lafuente requested that this item be kept in committee until he can conduct a meeting with neighbors to address their concerns. RESULT: KEPT IN COMMITTEE 193852 - New Garage License, American Auto Gallery, 682 Mystic Ave., 2 vehicles inside, repairing, washing and storing vehicles, Mon-Thu 9AM-7PM, Fri-Sat 9AM-6PM.: Mr. Nuzzo informed the members that his inspection of the site indicates that it does not meet the requirements to hold 23 vehicles and he recommended lowering the capacity to 20 vehicles. Alderman Lafuente requested that this item be kept in committee until he has visits the site and speaks to the neighbors. Members also discussed controlling exhaust fumes and recycling water at the facility. Alderman Trane's motion to approve a 30 day license, with hours of operation set as Monday through Friday, 10:00 Am to 5:00 PM and no repairs on weekends, was approved.
