CPC Funding Recommendation Broadway House Off-Cycle FY23 — File 22-1637
COMMUNITY PRESERVATION COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION FOR
Broadway House FY23 Out of Cycle Request for Increased Funds
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Cascap requests additional funds to close a budget gap for the CPA‐funded restoration of 181
Broadway, which is a group home for young adults with psychiatric disabilities. Since receiving CPA
funding in FY21, construction costs have increased significantly, while the contractor has determined
that larger sections of trim and siding need to be replaced. Cascap is contributing funding from other
sources for the renovations, however, additional CPA funds are needed to close the budget gap so that
they can begin construction of the project.
ELIGIBILITY
Historic Resources: This project would rehabilitate a historic building, enabling it to be used for its
intended purpose.
