TO: Jimmy Del Ponte BFA, Somerville Youth Arts Coordinator To Whom It May Concern, I wish to donate my upright piano to Somerville Youth Arts through James DelPointe. This piano is in excellent condition and has been well cared for for twenty years. Although it has been some time since it was last tuned, a musician friend who would play for us commented that it was a high quality instrument. My wife and I bought this upright twenty years when my then pre-teen daughter developed and interest in the piano. After high school, she lost interest and the piano has occupied a place of honor in my family room and has been well cared for. We are redecorating, and decided that we would part with the piano in hopes that it would inspire some other youngster who might not have access to a piano for practice. A friend from Somerville was aware of the Youth organization and suggested it when I mentioned my desire to donate it to a worthy cause. I wish to donate my upright Haller Miller Piano to Somerville Youth Arts without payment of any kind, and with no reservations. John MacDonald 26 Citation Ave. Stoneham, MA 02180 [phone removed]
