There were 120 resumes submitted for the position. That number was reduced to 2 through a series of interviews and these candidates are scheduled to be interviewed by the mayor. Sub-groups of the Recreation Task Force submitted questions for the candidates’ interviews. Mr. Roche also discussed the makeup of the Recreation Commission and Chairman Rossetti asked what the procedure would be in the event that the Recreation Commission rejected the final candidate. Mr. Boukili stated that all boards and commissions are being examined and something may be submitted to the BOA in the next couple of months. RESULT: WORK COMPLETED
