Alderman McLauglin stated that he has received 9 calls from constituents opposing this license. Chairman Sullivan also stated that he has, over the years, received several calls from constituents opposing car dealerships in the Ward 1 neighborhood. RESULT: PLACED ON FILE 198262: New Used Car Dealer Class 2 License, Instacar, 38-42 Medford St., 10 autos outside. This location has continuously housed a repair shop over the years and Alderman Heuston motioned to amend the application for 4 cars for 30 days, conditioned on the approval by ISD. The applicant was directed to appear before the committee again in 30 days.
