Two residents spoke saying that 50 cars would be too many for the community. Residents said that the applicant has been better with regards to cars on the street and the lot, however the community does not want a used car lot in the neighborhood. 196760: That the Administration create a process to evaluate public events for financial impacts on city resources, and use it for all public event applications. Ms. Rossetti spoke about the financial impacts of events on the city’s resources. Discussions were held to ensure that there are no direct event expenses for the city and a process was implemented that allows the city to track all expenses.

The item was approved with the condition that the Arts Council ensures that the area is monitored on a regular and consistent basis for cleanliness and appearance. RESULT: APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS 198457: New Garage License, Top Car Auto Repair, 497 Columbia St., 8 autos inside, 2 outside. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM -6:00 PM, with 2 mechanics. There will be 8 cars on the premises. RESULT: APPROVED 198459: New Mobile Food Vendor, Pennypackers. The committee wants to make sure the property owner is fine with the food truck being onsite, especially if there will be a second truck. Additionally, the committee would like written approval from the property owner sent to the City Clerk before the next Board of Aldermen's meeting. RESULT: KEPT IN COMMITTEE 198460: New Mobile Food Vendor, Rhythm n Wraps. The committee would like a letter from the owner of the property along with a schedule for the truck. This applicant will also name the property owner on the certificate of insurance. RESULT: KEPT IN COMMITTEE 22. Alewife Automotive - review Placed on file. 198534: New Used Car Dealer Class 2 License, Alewife Automotive, 395 Alewife Brook Pkwy., 0 autos in, 18 autos out. Chairman Sullivan motioned to reduce the garage license from 29 to 28. Additionally the used car license was reduced to 1 with no sales on the lot. This is a conditional approval with the applicant coming back in 3 months. RESULT: APPROVED AS AMENDED
