That, in the interest of tree preservation, the City Solicitor draft a revision of the Tree Ordinance to include restrictions and regulations on cutting trees of at least six inches in diameter on private property, and explain how the proposed revision differs from the ones that Cambridge, Lexington and Newton that have already passed to protect trees on private property.
